Appointed by the Mayor of Tallahassee and approved by the City Commission, we have eleven excellent representatives invested in Downtown Tallahassee.
Monthly on the 2nd Monday at 12:00 PM, located at the Tallahassee Downtown Office at 300 W Pensacola St Tallahassee, FL 32301. (If the 2nd Monday falls on a City holiday, the meeting will move to the 3rd Monday.)

Develop it.
As a commercial advisor with NAI TALCOR, Slaton works to promote downtown as a premier district for business. The chair of the Board, he is proud to serve with a group of like-minded individuals with a commitment to make downtown a better place for all.
Fight for it.
Chris currently serves as the chair for the TDIA. Outside of his role with the TDIA, Chris is a managing partner with the Southern Group. Chris values the unique history of downtown and its opportunity to be a vibrant destination.
Champion it.
As a Leon County Commissioner, Commissioner Cummings actively champions for our City and County. Commissioner Cummings works to see all members of our community succeed, and wants downtown to be an inclusive place for all to experience.
Dream it.
A passionate advocate for pedestrian safety, Cynthia has dedicated her board service to improve downtown from the street up. As a former resident, she knows the amenities that make living in downtown enjoyable. From the Chain of Parks Art Festival to the Governors Club and Basketball Games at the Civic Center, when she isn’t in the office she’s taking full advantage of what makes our downtown thrive. As a patron of arts and culture, Cynthia has dedicated much of her volunteer time to lead improvements in these spaces.
Transform it.
Personally and professionally invested in downtown, Gus works to improve our downtown. He wants to see it grow to the full potential he knows it is capable of, believing it should rival any other state capital in beauty, functionality, and coolness factor. His vision, energy, and proactive voice helps champion the ongoing resurgence of new and revitalized businesses coming into downtown. As Senior Director of Government Law and Policy with Greenburg Taurig, he’s worked downtown for the majority of his professional career.
Advocate for it.
A board member for 20 years, Bill offers a historical perspective on downtown’s development. Bill believes that downtown captures the pulse of the city and that there is potential in downtown. Outside of his role with the TDIA, Bill serves as the president of the Capital City Trust Company and as the president of Capital City Investments.
Plan it.
With a background in urban and regional planning, Artie helps government officials, business leaders, and citizens come together to build communities that enrich people's lives. Artie currently serves as the Director of Planning, Land Management , and Community Enhancement (PLACE) where he is responsible for integrating the implementation, administration, and executive oversight of three interrelated programs: the myriad of Planning functions, the Office of Economic Vitality economic development programs, and Blueprint infrastructure projects.

Leading a lobbying firm whose clients include a broad range of subject matters from alcohol beverages to a nurses organization at Jackson Hospital in Miami, in one of downtown’s most primer locations. Scott purchased a historic building on Monroe street and immediately became involved and invested in downtown, serving as a past Chairman. He’s active in beautification efforts of Gallie Alley and surrounding areas.
Build it.
Raised on Tallahassee’s south side with a passion for the public good, Commissioner Jeremy Matlow believes that citizens and neighborhoods should drive the priorities of City Hall. By bringing more people into the political process and advocating for the concerns of everyday people, Jeremy is committed to building a city that works for everyone through dedicated public service.
Impact it.
Sha’Ron’s mission is to impact each space she inhabits by making it better than when she found it. As a shareholder in the downtown Tallahassee office of Gunster, an impact investor, and community leader, she is committed to the past, present, and future of Downtown Tallahassee, which she calls the crown jewel of our community. Through her public service and civic engagement, Sha’Ron has earned an outstanding reputation in the community garnering her the trust and respect of some of our Tallahassee’s most influential decision makers.

As CEO of Capital Association Management, Patty is part of a team that works to implement custom driven solutions to all communities CAM manages. The vice chair of the Board, she is proud to serve an organization dedicated to making downtown Tallahassee a place to live, work, and play.
