To celebrate Law Day and Historic Preservation Month, the Florida Supreme Court is opening its doors to the public on Saturday, May 13, from 10 am - 3 pm to walk-in visitors.
This is a rare opportunity to see the state's highest courtroom outside regular business hours and sit in the Justices' chairs for a picture.
Law Day provides an opportunity to understand how law and the legal process protect our liberty, strive to achieve justice, and contribute to the freedoms that all Americans share.
May is also Preservation Month and the open house highlights the 75th anniversary of the Supreme Court building’s dedication happening later this year, and all the historical documents and artifacts on display in the Supreme Court Library.
Court staff will be available to answer questions about Florida's judicial branch and provide information about the Florida Supreme Court's history and the building's architecture.
